🎶 KST Performance Academy's Homeschool Class:

Intro to Voice & Piano 🎶

In this exciting, interactive musical experience kids ages 6-12 will sing, play, laugh, and grow together—all while gaining valuable music skills in a nurturing and engaging environment. Any experience level welcome - beginners too!

Students will attend 2 hours of weekly class - 1 hour in voice and 1 hour in piano - learning in a way that feels more like play than schoolwork!

Students (ages 6-12) will build a strong singing foundation with age-appropriate techniques in posture, breathing & sound production. Choosing the style of music they love (Disney, pop, MT, worship, etc), students will sing group and solo (optional) songs & receive personalized feedback while working on expression, selling a song & performance polish! Students will have the exciting option to participate in 2 fun performances each year!

Students (ages 6-12) will receive individualized and group instruction in piano technique and general music knowledge.

This introductory piano class is designed for beginner and intermediate students and will focus on fundamental music reading skills through lessons, games, and hands-on practice at the piano! Students will have the exciting option to participate in 2 fun performances each year!

Is it required to be a current KST Performance Academy student to enroll in the Homeschool music program?

Nope! Anyone can enroll - our Homeschool music program is open to all kids ages 6-12!

What ages can enroll in the Homeschool music class?

Ages 6 -12.

Do you offer homeschool music courses for ages 13+?

Yes! For students ages 13+ we offer customized options tailored to their musical interests and experience. Email us for more details!

How many credits/courses will my child earn?

2 elective course credits (1/semester)! While elementary/middle school students may not require formal credits, our Homeschool Music Program fulfills the requirement for 2 additional courses beyond core subjects.

Does my child need prior piano/voice experience to enroll?

Nope! Open to all kids ages 6-12 no matter your music background or lack thereof!

Do we need a piano or keyboard at home to enroll?

Nope! Having access to a piano/keyboard at home is a wonderful bonus for students but is NOT a requirement for the class.

What days and times is class offered?

Students will choose to attend class either:

Mondays from 12noon -2pm OR Wednesdays from 10am-12noon.

What is the cost?

$700/student/semester (1 course credit earned) or $1,400/student/year (2 course credits earned).

What happens if my registered student can no longer attend? Do you offer refunds?

Tuition is non-refundable. KST staff/faculty have reserved their time based on registration. There are no refunds or transfers for missed or canceled Homeschool Program attendance. No exceptions.
